St. Paul's Takes Treats to the Streets on Halloween in 2023!!

For the past 18+ years, the Navasota Police Department has hosted "Treats on the Streets". It promotes a safe environment on Halloween for Trick or Treaters of all ages. It started at an event for the downtown merchants to set up and hand out candy to trick or treaters, but eventually bechame a larger event, that added the local civic clubs, school organizations and churches, as well as the businesses that it began with. The night starts promptly at 6 p.m. Candy is handed out by local businesses, civic clubs, churches and other organizations that set up booths along Holland Street, behind the city's municipal building. Each year, the event attracts approximately 2,000+ children, and this year's event was no different!
Treats on the Streets 2023 was St. Paul's 12th year to participate. We were the first church to join in on the fun, and that started a trend, as other churches in our community began to join in participating over the last several years as well.  Everyone always has a wonderful time handing out candy and and admiring the colorful and creative costumes worn by the children. We can't wait to do it again next year!
